The problem with your premise is that Romney is as bad if not worse than Obama.

The problem with your premise is the number of known, respected conservatives who will take a different position, including in all likelyhood every candidate you have supported up until now (Goode excepted, clearly since he will run in the general election).

At least Gingrich stayed in the race, but so far, it hasn't been good for him. Probably doesn't help him that people are jumping ship to a 3rd-party.

The whole “Romney is as bad as Obama” position misses reality on several of levels. Disclaimer: I hate Romney, I want Newt, but Romney WILL be the nominee.

1). Obama is a radical Marxist. In a second term, he won’t be held back by any accountability to the electorate (we saw a glimpse of this during his open mic comments) and he’ll subvert the authority of congress. He will take us in a radical direction that will take decades to overcome.

2). Romney’s views are founded in liberalism; I’m convinced of this. BUT he is no where near as far far far left off to the left as the radical Obama is. Romney is a Liberal, Obama is a radical Marxist.

3). Romney can be mostly controled by a Conservative. Republican congress, Obama cannot. If we work to get a solid conservative House and Senate conservatives can dictate the agenda. Obama will veto and call the legislation “radical right” and the media will lap it up.
