You haven't answered my question. How is it possible for Newt to win the nomination. You and several others claim Newt will win. And for any FReeper to say they will use Free Republic to demand people support and donate money to Obama will cause this site to lose 95% of its members which means there will be no money to fund this website. I really hope the leadership makes a statement regarding FReepers who plan on campaigning for Obama on Free Republic. If this is what FR will be myself and thousands of others are out. For a FReeper to say they will use this site to actively campaign FOR Obama is against everything that was listed when I signed up over a decade ago!!!

Amazing, isn't it? and they wonder why some of us suspect they're Democratic Operatives infiltrating the site.

I remember when Newt was despised here for many reasons, including his support of the theory of global warming and the commercial he did with Pelosi.

Their little sanctimonious selves own the evil they brought on this country and will be accountable for bringing one nation under God to one nation under evil.

Yes, those Romney voters really are evil!

Thank you for your efforts to preserve the Republic by not voting for Santorum.

Santorum was never in this to win..we all know that...he never had his teams together in the states he might have won, let alone couldn't get his team together in the states fast enough when the media/Romney picked up Santorum after Iowa and ran him front page to stop the vote for Newt.

Obama/Romney thru in the social/moral 'bait' at the same time and Santorum took it and ran himself into the ground...but it worked to get the "religious" voters away from Newt as planned. It was a double hitter for the GOP as well. There man (santorum) was doing exactly what they put him out there to do, exactly as they used him in congress on social issues.

Santorum would not give Newt his delegates even after dropping out which says volumes he was in the court with Romney/GOP from the get go, just as we said.

Too many voters voted for what their itchy ears wanted to hear instead of keeping their eye on the game-board and the plays the GOP and Romney were making.

Santorums' whole life has been about riding on waves someone else creates for him to ride as long as it swells his vast ego and takes him up the political path he wants his career to go. That has not nor has it ever changed for Rick...he rides on the Big Boys waves designed for him when they're ready to use him. Always was that way and always will be.

and btw George Soros endorsed Romney. I also hope you remember the great accomplishments Newt made as Speaker of the House against a liberal president.
Just as many in here opposed Vesty for his endorsement of Spector and Mitt Romney

“Even though Romney’s chief rival, Rick Santorum, has suspended his campaign, states continue to hold primaries. There are five contests on April 24th with 219 delegates at stake; but even if Romney won every single delegate that day he would be far short of 1,144. Wyoming and Missouri are holding conventions before April 24th where Romney may pick up some delegates but even winning all of them wouldn’t bring him much closer to the magic number.

Looking ahead, Romney would need to win about 80 percent of the delegates available in the April and May events to possibly clinch on May 29th when Texas holds its primary with 152 delegates at stake. If Romney won 90 percent of the delegates in April and through May 22nd he may still come up short of the 1,144 and need delegates from Texas’ primary on May 29th.

Yes, Soros is going to send Romney money, he'll also send an e-mail out to all those subscribed to Moveon.org and tell them to vote for Romney. Yeah sure!

Newt was awesome as Speaker, he lost it in between resigning from his job and running for President. People despised him for his personal life and for touting global warming, but now all of a sudden none of that matters anymore, whereas Romneys past constantly gets thrown in everyones faces.

That’s right...Santorum raised right here in this little old community. NOT in Pittsburgh as he constantly claims he’s from, nor is it a coal community and never was. He lied a lot. Still does. What ever he thinks he can get away with you can be certain he’ll pull. Nothings changed about Rick.

Newt has already said he isn’t a scientist!! Scientist themselves are screwed up about it. Newt is a historian! A fighter for America/Our Constitution!

That was the lamest of excuses for voting for RS or Mitt. A theory vs. same sex marriage, appointing liberal judges, socialistic healthcare, pro killing of babies, anti-constitution. Face it - they prefer EVIL!

Anyone would voted for RS/Mitt their personal lives are screwed up big time - they brought the taint of the baby killing maggot and homo agenda into their lives by supporting it. It will never go away - they own it. Especially with the cult leader they attached themselves to.

What they have sown they will reap, MORE than they sowed, later than they sowed. It's a law. When you sow tomato seeds you don't get cucumbers. You sow evil, you get evil Dismal personal lives on the horizon for many. LIARS/evil had their little maggots bow to them to support them/evil. Satan is the master of lies. Now they know who they really voted for dressed in a suit.

As long as we have a populace that plugs its ears and covers its eyes to the enemies that are going for America’s jugular, this country is like a lamb being led to the slaughter. Rush Limbaugh keeps saying he will tell us when it’s time to start worrying, but right now the Soros/Obama communist-Islamist alliance has about a half-dozen ways they could end this country tomorrow if they wanted to - and yet Limbaugh won’t bring up any of that. None of them will.

Oh sweetheart the GOP got you good didn't they! Santorum was their diversion and it worked...nothing to do with Santorum "sudden" popularity...he simply played his assigned roll and the script they gave him... as usual. As for delegates...Romney caught on to Newt's plan long before the news revealed anything about the convention. He was stacking the delegates from day one and before...along with Pauly to make certain if it went to convention Romney would come out smelling like a Rose.

Paul's been protecting Romneys flank from the get go as well....as we all know Paul has no desire to be President and said as much. He helped Romney take out the other candidates as well.

Santorum was nothing to begin with and the only reason he has acquired the votes even not running is because the public remains as foolish and stupid about elections, the game-board and the players as ever. The media pushed SAntorum and the public ate it up while the GOP/Romney watched Newt crash and burn time and again.

Any fool could have seen Newt was the strongest conservative candidate to take out Romney and Obama..that was a no brain-er for any who had one. But as usual the "social" religious bunch got suckered in as they did with Carter and others along the way. Always forgetting we are never voting for a Pastor but a President.

So the Romney/GOP scam worked...and Santorum voters are still basking in the false assumption Santorum was somehow on their side.....he was never anything but a push guy for the GOP....a battling ram to keep Newt down and to keep Romney on the front page.

Oh yes, Romney is going to appoint socialist Czars, and implement a socialist agenda, and he's going to make sure unemployment and gas prices go higher to get more people beholden and dependent on the Government, and he's going to foment racial tensions, and refuse to use our own resources to get us away from OPEC, and he's going to abandon Israel and side with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Oh yeah, I'm convinced that Romney and Obama are identical.

Mike Castle would have kicked Christine O’Donnell’s a@# tonight. Republican voters in Deleware have shown re-education camps work.
