They would be better off retiring now, as either man is likely to send them off to fight and die in unwinnable "police actions" in the interest of the international banking cartel, rather than the defense of American liberty.

Yes, and it seems like something of a miracle that you yourself weren’t zotted!
The fact still remains, Newt not winning any Primaries or Caucuses remained in the race long after Santorum still was.
You folks can choose to grasp at straws to defend Newt, but Newt has nobody to blame but himself for the take of many people who now see him as a major spoiler.
He waited in just long enough to see Santorum drop out, then he dropped out.
There’s no other way to slice and dice it. These are the facts.
The Senate approves them. And even if they wanted, they can't stop them all. You can maybe stop one or two really bad Supreme Court picks, but eventually the GOP would look petty and have to bow to public pressure. It gets harder and harder to stop them after blocking the first. If Obama wins re-election, the Supreme Court is going to be decidedly more leftist. Think of all the decent 5-4 decisions, and just assume they are going to go the other way. At minimum Hussein will be replacing Ginsburg, but one or more of the conservatives might get sick and die and then he replaces them too.
It'll be interesting to say the least...but I suspect Romney will swing all directions to win the voters. So won't Obama...they'll both try to eat the whole pie to win.
Newt is Churchillian, in many ways, but Britain wasn't ready for Churchill until their situation was already disastrous. There is still too much pretending going on in America, so a "let's pretend" candidate is going to win again in 2012. But by 2016, the economic landscape is likely to be very different.
Yesterday was the first voting since Santorum dropped out and Newt became the lone conservative in the race. Only with the results last night has it become clear that there will be no coalescing of the anybody-but-Romney vote behind Newt.
I actually felt shame in volunteering for Dole. Not this time. Never again. I’ll show as much love for Bishop Willard as Bishop Willard showed gentile fetuses in Massachusetts, and I will knock myself out for the GOP like the GOP knocked itself out for Sarah Palin.
His money dried up some time ago. After Louisiana it was a joke that most everyone could see, him still staying in.
I know his die-hard supporters didn’t want to face it, but he was dead in the water then. Heck, he wasn’t really contesting primaries and caucuses prior to that either.
After his home state, it was over.

No. It really is time to leave. If united on principles of limited government, personal freedom and American supremacy, conservatives, small ‘L’ libertarians, and what were once called the Reagan Democrats could bury both of the freakish, progressive, Pustule on the Potomac NWO parties.
Gingrich may want to stay in until convention. But does that commit his staff and ground team?
Newt’s staff walked out last summer. My guess is that his organization is falling apart after last night. It is hard to run a presidential campaign all by yourself.
Newt Gingrich will officially suspend his presidential campaign on Tuesday, ABC News confirmed today. The former House speaker will make the announcement from Washington D.C., where he will be in town for the White House Correspondents Association dinner this weekend.
It is “highly likely” Gingrich will endorse Mitt Romney during Tuesday’s announcement, a source close to the campaign said.
Earlier this morning, Gingrich told a North Carolina audience that he’s “working out the details of our transition.”
CNN’s PoliticalTicker blog said Gingrich frequently referred to himself as a”citizen” at the North Carolina event and said “it’s pretty clear that Gov. Romney is going to be the nominee.”

RE: Santorum won MO but will come away with only 7 of its 52 delegates.
That’s a little disingenuous and hearkens back to the age old expression “putting the cart before the horse.”
Santorum was going to get most ALL of Missouri’s delegates, but then he dropped out.
Because Santorum dropped out, his supporters at the regional conventions didn’t have a leg to stand on, so to speak. Hence, the conventions were in disarray and the vote was pretty much split between the remaining candidates.
I know because I was there!
Had Santorum stayed in the race, you would have seen 50+ delegates going towards Santorum.
Anyway, I don’t think you meant anything by it, but your comment was a bit misleading and I thought I’d clear the air: Santorum had all those delegates. He simply needed to remain in the race.
However, Santorum quit and his supporters at the regional conventions were forced to choose between riding a dead horse or switching to one still standing.
Ergo, you CAN’T use Missouri to make your claim that Santorum “knew that his delegate performance was poor.”
Like I said, “cart before the horse,” my friend.

He was a Virginia senator, and with the way things are in this state now, I don’t even know if he’ll be on the ballot here, LOL.
