Well, the one good thing is that self defense is actually getting mentioned in this election cycle. Perhaps in other parts of the country, self defense is given a fair shake in the media, but here in the northeast the libs have tried hard to equate the second amendment with hunting rights. Remember when Tom Selleck had to ask Rosie O'Donnell if she thought the second amendment was really about hunting - I think she really did.
In a sense, I agree with this lib from the NYTimes - I'm not a hunter but I put the right to bear arms only after the right to life in my voting priorities.
Look, Lady, if you don't like the NRA don't join. It's not like a union or Obamacare, it's voluntary. That's the way free people like it. And that's why they want those guns.
