_____________

The left loves to talk about science...and how they are the party of rational thought...until they actually get to practice what the preach...then science/economics goes out the window.

When low income workers and younger people are hit with higher unemployment, they will blame capitalism. Bank on it.

Great move!! Now, not only Connecticut’s college graduates be unable to find jobs, but those seeking summer and/or part time jobs will also be out of luck.
I wonder how many of those strongly in favor of higher minimum wage mandates are those who ACTUALLY make the decisions to hire or not to hire, and then must PERSONALLY pay those wages.
The 6 figure executive may “verbally” agree with the higher minimum wage before he quietly shifts the jobs to a place that enables him to be more competitive.

There was a time, not so long ago, when Connecticut was a haven for those who wanted to avoid the obscene taxes in New York. People from New Jersey found it as a refuge from the overcrowding and increasing costs of living in the “Garden State” (an oxymoron). It won’t be long before the trends reverse.

I think everyone should make $100 an hour.

They would still fall below the $250,000 'rich' bracket.
