Patti Mahany is my kind of girl!

Bravo Ms. Mahany for doing what’s right not only in moral terms but following Fla. law.

But it once again begs the question: why is it that only the women have cajones these days?

How exactly do you reject someone saying I quit. Other than military service how do you make a person work against their will.

I like the way she didn’t let Megyn spin the Governor’s and prosecutor’s actions by substituting her talking-head opinion for what they did. Way to keep the LMM on its toes!

The Sheriff was trying to do the 'honorable thing' in the face of pressure from poverty pimps and the MSM - groups that would destroy his city if they didn't get their way.. .

These two groups - poverty pimps and their big brother enforcers - the MSM - wanted to tar and feather anyone who dared to stand for the rule of law rather than the rule of the mob. They were throwing their weight around and he knew they would punish his city. Being a good man - he offered his resignation to save the city.

The Sanford Commission also chose to do the honorable thing - they refused to accept his resignation. It was a vote of confidence. It was a vote for doing what's right rather than bending to political pressure.

The mob lost. The rule of law won. Hats off to the good people of Sanford... See - easy, right?

Personally, methinks that now that all of the information is coming out and due to the fact that the Commission had originally pressured the Chief to step down, may be leery that if they accept his resignation and if after the trial (or hearing which could set him free) and his being found not guilty, they could be looking at a major law suit.
