First Lady Hails Free-Contraception Mandate: 'We Made History' By Fred Lucas April 25, 2012
(CNSNews.com) – First lady Michelle Obama boasted at a campaign event in Omaha, Neb. on Tuesday that the Obama administration made history when it passed the president's health care proposal--and mandated that insurance companies would have to provide free contraceptives.
"Two years ago, we made history together by finally passing health reform," said Mrs. Obama. "And because we passed this law, insurance companies will now have to cover basic preventive care--things like prenatal care, mammograms, contraception--at no extra cost."
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) finalized the "preventive services" regulation in January and it will take effect for most employers on Aug. 1. It mandates that nearly all health insurance plan in the United States must provide women with sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that can induce abortion, without any fees or co-pay.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and many Catholic leaders in the United States have voiced strong opposition to the mandate because they say it would force Catholics--whose church teaches that sterilization, contraception and abortion are wrong--to act against their consciences and the teachings of their faith. In comments submitted to the Department of Health and Human Services, in which they asked the administration to rescind the regulation, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops called it an "unprecedented attack" on religious liberty.

Michelle, that Health Care thingy you are boasting about, it not popular in America and is before the Supreme Court as potentially unconstitutional. I wouldn’t be out reminding people about how proud you are to have forced Americans to “buy” something and that many American’s will be forced to go against their faith.

i have a chronic illness and every doctor I have visited has a combination of rage and fear and sadness about what Obamacare will do to their practice but primarily what it will do to their patients.
The sweetest & cheeriest doctor I know is a young oncologist who always has a large room of patients having their medicine dripped while they sit for some time for the procedure.
He treats them & I believe he LOVES his patients, too. When you go into his office, he hugs you. He takes care and checks with his patients - mind, body and soul.
I asked him about his oncology patients if Obamacare goes through.
He shook his head and looked so grieved and just said “maybe it won't pass. I hope it doesn't.”
He says this while about 20 people of all ages are enduring the drip.
He looked so GRIEVED. I had never seen him like that. He is always so cheery in spite of caring for some patients who are terminal and without much hope.
He is cheery for them to help them and their families to cope. He always has hope and cares so deeply but he can only help some patients go “home”.
Obama has cold water for blood to be passing his atrocity of “care”.
May his ass be kicked by the Supreme Court.
