This doesn’t pass the smell test on two counts: Muslimahs are not required to remove the headscarf to show their faces, just the niqab that lets only the eyes show.

As a recent military retiree who am also a Vietnam vet, I’ve been paid by every means including direct deposit (if you don’t have a bank account, soldier, then GET one!) which has been around at least twenty years. Now it’s possible that her son sent her a postal money order to deposit in her own account, no, that doesn’t make sense either if he has his own checkbook.

This whole Muslim-as-victim business just smells. Especially when compared to the plight of Christians in Egypt and Pakistan.
