I heard someone on Catholic Answers (Jimmy Akin ?) say that “brain death” was invented to permit organ “harvesting.”
It gave me pause, considering that the AMA redefined conception from fertilization to implantation, so that the pill could be classified as a contraceptive.
As time goes on and man’s knowledge increases, is the oldest or original definition of some things, always the best or most correct?
