He is just corralling the cattle back in the pen. Rush is taking a pragmatic approach to romney... and he will support him and he will promote him on his show. He is a republican through and through... and he is trying to paint romney as something that he isn't... but Rush is playing both ends against the middle. He also said that he knew that romney was not who he contends that he is. He was talking about all of the energy and enthusiasm of republicans in America and he was predicting a landslide victory for romney. Several gop/e seminar callers stated today exactly what Rush was preaching.

reince preibus and romney had an rnc drone call here today asking me for a $500-$1000. I told him that he had the wrong fellow... that after preibus conspired with certain republican secretaries of state to keep Newt and Rick off of the ballots in a couple of states and engineering certain primaries as open primaries and by playing fast and loose with the electors... that mitt and his north eastern billionaire blue-bloods could finance this election. The rest of America is locked in a depression and we have no money.

Rod... I preached the same exact argument in 2007/08 for mccain... and all the way back to Bob Dole and gerald ford. romney isn't going to save anything... what he may do is lead to another flaming leftist president... and the dims will choose someone just like romney next time. There will be no black kenyan radical... just some whitebread commie to beat another republican. I understand what you are saying... but I also know that if we do not stand up the the gop/e that hates us as much as they hate anyone... then nothing will ever change. I will vote down ballot for every Conservative running... but romney will never see my vote... ever. I will not argue that you shouldn't vote for him... but I have had enough and I will not.
