I have been shocked to start hearing on Rush Limbaugh's show on his original Sacremento station commercials for "Cal Fresh!" They are just blatant and suggest quite forthrightly that even if you are working and earning "you may still qualify for this benefit!" Then it plainly states theat "Cal Fresh" is food stamps and that the commercial is "brought to you by the US Dept. of Agriculture's "SNAP" program!!!

I doubt Rush is being paid for this commercial. Rather, I believe KFBK is being paid to run it during his program and he probably has no knowledge of it IMO. It's probably promoted as retribution on his supposed "war on women" or some such. I'm just sayin...

Here's another story about Limbaugh's local advertisers

It’s my understanding that Rush has over 18K advertisers, many of whom have a contract with the station and their adverts are random with the station.

I’ve heard the gubmint adverts, too, but they are advertising with the station, not Rush.

I’m sure that Rush gets a little stipend for their adverts, but not as much as one who advertises exclusively with his show, such as Life Lock.

As I said, he’s probably getting a small amount for their adverts, and the station is getting the bulk of it.

I’m sure with the WOW, he’s checked out as many of the 18K or so who advertise, but his main concern is those who advertise exclusively with him. Those who dumped him, have not been allowed to return, even that mattress company in Sacramento, who has been with him since the start and with whom he was personal friends, was given the heave ho.

Good on him!
