Principles matter? Are you kidding. They are so fluid here, I’m not even sure they exist. Many of the “Go Newt!” crowd were flaming him as a liberal they couldn’t vote for as late as last December
Amen to that...I recall specifically commenting that I supported Newt and was dang near run out of Dodge.
I really despise romney... and I had problems going back years with Santorum and Newt. I also declared long ago that I would gladly vote for either of them for President. I said some things about both men that were true and they both have done and said things in the past that are absolutely not Conservative... but they both are leagues above romney and both are “good men” and romney isn't. I voted for Newt in our Primary. I donated money to him... so some of us that were critical of him still supported him in the end.
