I joined The Church 58 years ago and have never heard The Saviors name used in vain from an active Mormon.

Sorry...claims that Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith, is the brother of Satan, that He was conceived by God having sex with Mary, that He was married, that He was a man who "progressed" to godhood...on and on and on....mormonism has taken the name of the Savior "in vain" from the very founding of the mormon sect.

The following was taken from the official LDS genealogy site. The arrogance of claiming that God requires baptism into the mormon church is total blasphemy.

Mormon taqqiya is getting more stealthy, but just as deceitful. When the leadership of LDS inc teach that the blood of Christ does not redeem anyone, that is the essence of antiChrist and certainly qualifies as ‘using the Savior’s Identity falsely.’ But if the wording is not precisely as LDS apologist demand it to be, they just deny their deceits and move to the next one.
