Presidents running for re-election typically boast of programs they created, people they helped or laws they signed. They talk about rising test scores or falling deficits or expanding job rolls. President Obama is increasingly taking the unusual route of bragging about how he killed a man.

I never thought I’d hear myself say this but, to our Dear Leader’s credit, the killing of Osama is really all he has to run on. Granted he simply continued to follow Bush’s initiatives, but he does get credit since he’s the President.
Unfortunately for our Dear Leader, nobody gives a cr*p when the economy stinks, unemployment is still through the roof, home values continue to fall, a record number are on food stamps etc. They’re grasping at straws.

Well we all know he fine-tuned the previous administration’s misguided efforts and personally orchestrated the assault on the OBL compound.
He had the cohones to say “ Yeah, ok, I guess. Where, again?”
He’d shown this great personal strength before when the Seals had pirates in tow behind a co-opted vessel.

Killing obl is a good thing imo. The spine to do it came from nowhere near the white hut though. If it did it was for all the wrong reasons.

Obama been laudin' killing the wrong man? Is that why the Nytimese are mad? They wanted it to be a certain former occupant of the White House? Is that why they are mad?
They would like it if he bragged about how many US soldiers he’s wounded and killed with his pro-Islam rules of engagement operation.

When dear reader first came to power, Dems were making noises about bailing out the newspapers. I wonder if the newspapers, like the NY Times, expected a payoff from their hero.
