Tea Party Battles GOP Establishment In Texas Senate Race
American Thinker ^ | 4-28-2012 | Tom Thurlow

Enter the Texas Tea Party's favorite GOP Senate candidate, Ted Cruz. "These bureaucracies," Cruz recently e-mailed me, "must be reined in. Instead of allowing the people to participate in the democratic process, the bureaucrats create the rule and then declare that it will benefit society, sidestepping the constitutional legislative process. That's why we must re-establish the proper role of the federal government. To do that, we need new leadership in the U.S. Senate."

The Republican Elite-Tea Party War will continue until one or the other is pushed out, we cannot peacefully coexist together.

We are witnessing history here folks, conservatives will take the GOP back, or the Repub's will go the way of the Whigs before them and we will start anew.

“Ted Cruz. An obnoxious, in your face, true conservative. I like this guy!”

Same here. He has great potential.

It looks like he should force Dewbious into a run-off and in a 2-man race I’m hoping Ted can take the seat.

Yeah, I have been seeing a lot of attack ads on TV recently regarding Cruz taking on Chinese clients. The local Fox affiliate here has tried to get his side of the story without any response from his campaign.

Ted Cruz is the man for Texas. I hope that the state’s conservatives grass roots and Libertarians are making his primary victory their #1 goal aside from Obama’s defeat.

This ad does not look like Cruz is as conservative and as "honest" as msot Freepers would like to see in a candidate. The president of thecompany that had their patents stolen, makes a very bold statement about how Cruz is fighting for the Chicoms and their Indian partners.

I am starting to move to Leppert, he was a good Dallas mayor helping to get many businesses to move here. He would be a godd addition to Johnson from Wisconsin.

Yes we are! The old crotchety Rinos in the Senate, who have not thought an independent reform idea in years, are out!

Ted Cruz is THE Tea Party/True Conservative candidate in this race. A vote for anyone other than Ted Cruz is a vote for the Republican establishment candidate Dewhurst.

Support Ted Cruz (along with other Conservative Senate candidates in other states). Let’s get a Republican majority Senate LED BY NEW CONSERVATIVE LEADERSHIP with GUTS. It CAN happen folks.

BOY, HOWDY!

At last TEXAS gets to be on the National Primary Election Stage!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- - - - HAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Cruz tells it like it is, and the RINO-E hate him for it.

Each hit-job ad proves that the hitter has no ideas better than Cruz’s ideas.

This is going to be FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all you FReepers, who might not even be Texans, for helping us get the word out. See my tagline that I’ve had for some time now. Rick “I’m dumb as a coal bucket” Perry has endorsed the Establishment candidate. One good ol’ boy Texas politician endorsing another one who doesn’t have what it takes to get off the Government dole and get a real friggin’ job.

Thanks again everyone. Ted Cruz is the real deal.

As far as I’m concerned, Dewhurst and Perry might as well be twins. They’re cut from the same political cloth. Before Dewhurst, Perry was the Lieutenant Governor, the most powerful pol in the state. He took a demotion to become governor when W got elected president, but he’s been there ever since, and he’s increased the Texas Governor’s power via appointments. Dewhurst became the Lt. Gov after that and they’ve both been hogging those seats ever since. Beat one you beat the other too. I hope Cruz can do it. But what about the Chinese?
