All the stuff about how great a leader Obama is made me think a bit. Didn’t there come out several articles from different sources a few weeks after Osama was killed that the Spiker in Chief, with Valerie Garrett whispering in his ear, was really hesitant about this and had not given the actual ok but Panetta was the one who actually pushed Obama into it and gave the actual order? It was only after it went down good that Obama embraced it. Seems to me I heard that. Maybe those who are better at searches can find the article and post it.

(Please come back Sarah!!!)
"The memo puts all control in the hands of Admiral McRaven the timing, operational decision making and control are all up to McRaven. So the notion that Obama and his team were walking through every stage of the operation is incorrect. The hero here was McRaven, not Obama. And had the mission gone wrong, McRaven surely would have been thrown under the bus."
Peternose had nothing to do with the decision. Admiral McRaven made the decision.
