It seems to me that there is simply a choice between two dirtbags. One dirtbag is markedly worse than the other dirtbag. The wagon is out of control and headed for a cliff. My, my. What a religiously "tolerant" rant & rave...Oh, yeah, doesn't the word "bigotry" have something to do with intolerance...

So, do you object to intolerance -- or only your perceived "intolerance" of falsehood practiced by others? ... Apparently your religious intolerance...your religious "bigotry" -- has some license to practice issued from who knows where?

You know, even tho your former lefty loonie views were rightly never tolerated, I'll betcha conservatives at least tolerated you as a person. They made a distinction between respecting you as a person -- vs. your formerly leftist views.

I have Lds in my family; I not only tolerate but love them. They are worthy of respect as individuals -- as everybody is. But their worldviews aren't. Their opinions aren't. And their placing words in God's mouth definitely isn't.

I can understand the government wanting to keep records so as to curtail inbreeding, which was its original role in marriage and which is part of the reason behind the Judeo-Christian definition of marriage (which was to reduce inbreeding while maximizing the potential for reproduction to ensure strong Jewish tribes). The other reason is that the backbone of any country or culture is the family. A strong family passes on the culture to the next generation. A fractured family does not do so as well.

The socialists for over a century have been destroying all of America’s traditions. Examine the roots of any of those minority groups that are attacking an American tradition and you will find Marxists, who knew early on that America was too strong to be conquered from without, that the way to destroy America was to rot it from within and allow it to divide itself into oblivion. That is what they have been working on for over a hundred years. This is just another attack on America.
