Robert Bluey

The National Organization for Marriage is asking the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute the individuals responsible for leaking the organization’s confidential U.S. tax return and then illegally publishing it.

The stolen tax return was first published by the Human Rights Campaign and subsequently the Huffington Post. HRC is led by Joe Solmonese, who also serves as a co-chairman of President Obama's reelection committee.

In an April 25 letter to Kathryn Keneally, assistant attorney general for DOJ’s tax division, NOM President Brian Brown and Chairman John C. Eastman request an immediate investigation “to identify the person(s) responsible for these illegal actions.”.......

“Anyone here old enough to remember the Nixon adminstration?”

Yes, I do. The “media” had their collective feet up his ass, not their noses.

It will be like Janet Reno investigating the 2004 campaign violations by the Clinton-Gore campaign.

Human Rights Campaign-”Working for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equal Rights”. Translation: working to destroy traditional values and breaking the law to do it.

This outfit is a particularly vile organization with alot of money and leftist clout. It would be great to see them smacked down.

Yep. I've been waiting for the GOP House to finally do something about stopping the funding for kinds of destructive, America-hating organizations, including the ACLU. Waiting... waiting...

I voted for Nixon in ‘72. It was the first vote I ever cast.

Yep, I voted for him in '68 and '72.

I voted for him in 72, (my first year for Presidential elections) but considering the alternative that year, I really had no real choice.

He didn't do a bad job, not a great job either, and all of his 'crimes' were standard operating procedure under Kennedy and Johnson. The DC establishment just wasn't going to allow a Republican to do that same stuff that they turned a blind eye to before.

This is going to have to be addressed by someone; you do not screw with the government’s ability to collect tax information.

I wonder how many people are very, very worried right now about November 7, 2012. I have a feeling someone and something is going to crack, big, before the election.

It’s a lot like what you see on “Law and Order” the first one gets the immunity.

Isn't it ironic and telling that we expect nothing but obfuscation and out right denial of justice from Eric Holder and this administration, while we begged Bush to pardon Scooter Libby and the Border Patrol agents?

The contrast in dealing with criminal matters is startling.

The best Nixon book I ever read (and a page-turning great book anyway) was 'Silent Coup' by Len Colodny and Robert Gettlin. If you like to read, I highly recommend that book. It drops you right back into the early '70s. For an aging political junkie like me, it read like a thriller novel.
