Exactly. If I had to guess, not that I'm a biochemist or anything, I'd guess that it's a chemical imbalance combined with some sort of behavioral reinforcement.

Perhaps I'm splitting hairs, but I see an enormous difference between who you're attracted to and who you have sex with. You can't do anything about the former. The latter is purely behavioral and is easily modified or regulated. Its a small, but critical difference.

The problem is that the gay community makes no distinction between the two.

I guess I would say that, if homosexuality is “genetic,
it is a birth defect. Maybe we should contact the March of Dimes?
