A Bluffton Middle School teacher is accused of grabbing a student by his shirt collar, forcing him under a desk and telling him, "This is what the Nazis do to Jews," according to the Bluffton Police Department.

Patricia Mulholland, a social studies teacher at the school, was arrested at 5:45 a.m. today and charged with third-degree assault and battery, and public disorderly conduct, according to the Beaufort County Detention Center log.

Contacted today, Beaufort County School District spokesman Jim Foster said details about the alleged incident Wednesday were not immediately available but that he expected to provide information later in the day.

A seventh-grade student told authorities that as he returned to his seat from sharpening his pencil, Mulholland grabbed him by the collar and said, "Come here, Jew," then dragged him 10 to 12 feet, according to an incident report.

No, as a matter of fact, they did not.

Look for the government school collectives to become more openly hostile to Jews and Christians.

The “public school”, including the “charter school”, is BY FAR, the largest, most expensive, most subversive, and most destructive entitlement program in the country.

The “public school”, including the “charter school”, is better understood as the “government school collective”.

It is silly to imagine that you can fix the public schools, because the very concept itself is communist.

Any child that comes out of the government school collective with their moral compass and common sense intact does so in spite of the government school indoctrination, not because of it.

If you want to win the culture war, have lots of children (see my tagline) and homeschool them or form your own school cooperative with your church or synagogue and like-minded friends and relatives.

Nobody loves your children more than you do.

Nobody can teach your children like you can.

Your children would love nothing better than to be taught by you, if you start doing so before they are corrupted by the government school collective.

It is hypocritical for you to submit your children to an authority with whom you fundamentally disagree. And your children will know it.

If you have children, make whatever sacrifices you must to get them out of the public schools.

DO NOT FEED THE BEAST!

Especially not with your own children.

And DO NOT TAKE GOVERNMENT “EDUCATION” MONEY!

He that pays the piper calls the tune, and that’s especially true for any government “education” program.

My son, aged 33, was just informing me this weekend that he has observed an increase in antisemitism in the last few years.

I would want to hear the teacher’s side of the story. One wonders if she reacted out of frustration for the student berating someone else as a “Jew”. In that case, at least her reaction would be understandable.

It is hard to believe that her behavior was not provoked in some fashion. Between a teacher and seventh grader, I would give the benefit of the doubt to the teacher.

Fire the witch and ban her from ever teaching again, period for a start.

The seventh-grade teacher claims she was trying to teach the students a lesson about the Holocaust. The social studies teacher had a lesson on the Holocaust the day before. "What was a demonstrative attempt to teach about World War II and the Holocaust has been taken to mean an anti-Semitic rant and it was nothing like that," said her attorney, Robert Ferguson.

With a last name like hers, I guess she is married to a moslem?

How so? We know next to nothing about this case.

I'd be surprised if the pupil actually was Jewish and the teacher knew about it or if the teacher was pro-Nazi.

It sounds like she just lost it.

I stand corrected. I was thinking her name was a moslem name, because I was thinking it said mohammed. My apologies.

This is nothing new. The first time I ever heard the word “kike” was from a fellow 6th grader out in the Midwestern sticks. I was chaining up my bike with a length of the heavy chain my uncle used to secure bulls when he transported them. This kid called me a kike. I asked him what it meant. “It means Jew bas___d!” he proudly replied. That was the last thing he was able to say for quite a while, as I snapped that heavy chain right across his stupid mouth.

I remember quite well a high school teacher in my Midwestern high school in the 70s who, upon seeing me, would say, “Hitler knew what to do with you people.” Or, “You would make a great lampshade.” Or, “Sniff, sniff, I smell gas.” I think we had all of about 10 Jews in this enormous school.

He was a winning track coach. No one wanted to hear anything bad about him.

In my jr. high school, I was put out into the hall when I refused to sing very religious Xmas carols. Jingle Bells, I’d go along, but not the heavy duty religious songs. I also got a checkmark for being uncooperative on my report card. That knocked me off the honor roll.

I also had a high school history teacher who would put his ancient arm around me, declaring, “I LIKE Jewish people.” Anything but! This guy was a real weirdo anyway. He would take it upon himself to show us Ohio State Highway Patrol films showing horrific accidents and torn up bodies, having first arranged our chairs so that we “would not throw up on one another.”

So, no, antisemitism from teachers is nothing new unfortunately.

I am sorry you were treated that way and had to endure that kind of treatment.

I also regret this story comes from my state. There are many fine folks in SC; hard working, honest and frankly clinging to their guns and religion. Look who the recently elected governor is, Nikki Haley, an Asian Indian American.

Too, after only 2 1/2 years from ground breaking at the Boeing plant in N. Charleston, they roll out a completed Boeing 787. Now, that’s impressive. Good folks accomplish these things.
