So tell me why a dumb animal who cannot truly understand the consequences of its deeds pays the heavier penalty when a “mom” with intent and intellect brutally murders her own child? That I agree with...the humans deserve the punishment, not the animals. People go into the woods hiking, get attacked by a bear defending her cubs, and the bear gets whacked???
