"I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority . . . even as I continued our broader effort. . . . Then, after years of painstaking work by my intelligence community I was briefed . . . I met repeatedly with my national security team . . . And finally last week I determined that I had enough intelligence to take action. . . . Today, at my direction . . ."

I am struck by the repetitive use of "my" in this excerpt. These are the words of someone who sees himself as a ruler, not a president.

If you think that the I, me, my, mine might be just a tad overused by Lord Obama, just wait 30 or 30 years and see how the “Killing Osama” story is told.

One of two ways:
1) Obama bravely parachuted into Pakistan and took out Bin Laden single handed. Like a modern black Rambo.
or
2) US Navy Seal team in an operation as audacious as the Doolittle Raid, took out the number one terrorist in the world.

Which story is told will be determined by whether Obama can complete his transformation of the United States into a Banana Republic.
