This is a new height of stupidity and narcissism for the President. He seems totally indifferent to the added danger he is creating for our tropps - trying to protect his sorry ass while he does his end zone dance. Nothing like rubbing your enemies faces in it - on THEIR turf. Stupid!!!
He doesn’t have any other achievements so he has to milk this for all it’s worth.
That’s not entirely how terrorism works, a great deal involves killing off soldiers and innocent civilians to drive the message that our president is powerless to protect us.
The trip makes me think of Bush's secret trip to Iraq for Thanksgiving in 2003, which was so secret that no one heard about it until he was safely on the way home. The troops thought someone was going to come out and read them a message from President Bush, and out walks their Commander-in-Chief to serve them Thanksgiving dinner.
