Barack Obama won Virginia by six points in 2008, and if he were up against his almost-certain 2012 opponent Mitt Romney today, he would win it again by a similar margin. If Romney hopes to close that gap, the states governor Bob McDonnell would not help, and there is no question that one potential running mate would hurt: Eric Cantor. The Constitution Party candidacy of the states former congressman Virgil Goode could also draw votes away from Romney, to Obamas advantage. Obama tops Romney by eight points, 51-43, up from a six-point (48-42) lead when PPP last polled the state last Demember. These results come among an electorate that reports voting for Obama by only four points over John McCain four years ago.

I hope you are being sarcastic. They do not put tank farms next to million dollar homes. Tenafly is one of the wealthiest towns in the country. Its like saying the slums of Greenwich CT.
It’s actually in Linden, not Elizabeth.
No, I am pointing out that those who claim to not be able to vote for myth typically say they have to face judgment, principals, etc etc.
Yet - by their actions they are enabling an even greater evil to occur by helping obama get 4 more years.
So lets be real, those people are full of it. How does one claim to not be able to vote for myth because he is evil, yet by doing so they are directly aiding an even bigger evil?
Makes zero sense whatsoever.
The Republicans swept Virginia in 2010. The GOP has gained strength since then. This poll is B.S.
Unfortunately a Republican isn’t on the ballot.
Hey,the entire state of NJ looks the same to me.I've heard of Alpine (serious $$$) but I didn't know Tenafly had money too.I just picked a name out of the air.And for the record,I've driven through the slums of Greenwich *and* New Canaan...imagine being forced to survive in a 4,000 square foot Colonial situated on a 2 acre lot! Once my 18 year old niece and I drove down North Street toward I-95 and as we were driving she called out "look at *that* one,it looks like the friggen White House!".And it did!
When I vote, I stand before God, my country and my family.
I will do so with my head held high and will be able to sleep the night of the election, knowing I did not compromise my core values and principles.
How you sleep that night is between you and your higher power.
I could not agree more. I could not wash McCain off me. I am not sure “I voted for Sarah” well sell with my maker.
The lesser of two evils is still evil.
-—The lesser of two evils is still evil.-—
Yes, but it’s permissible to vote for the lesser evil.
The last time I looked Virgina in and by itself isn't able to reelect Obama. Virginia has 13 votes and D.C. has 3 votes. That's 16 out of the 270 votes needed to win - roughly 6 percent.
So, how much weight should a give this poll? When they report this same trend in California (55 votes - 20%), Texas (38 votes - 14%) and both Florida and New York (29 votes each - 11%) then I will read it. Until then - “Look at the flashing lights boys and girls ain't it neat!!”
Because we reject your logic that by voting for Goode or write in or anyone but Myth we are voting for Obama. That simply is NOT true.
Yes, by voting for someone other than Myth we are denying him a vote that may allow him to win. But we are not giving that vote to Obama to allow him to win. We are giving our vote to whom we actually voted for.
People that think ABO and blindly follow his white twin brother are part of the problem.
It’s that group who will vote Myth no matter what, and would not even consider voting for Goode or others that are the problem.
It would seem. That includes you.
In your world.
Given the choice between evil or evil I guess perhaps you are right. However, I see more than 2 choices to pick from. Thus, you can pick from Evil, Evil, Goode or if you so chose you can chose not to chose (but you still have made a choice)..
I have made my choice.
God has opened many doors for me. 6 months or so ago I was screwed and looking at going broke. Even in this economy doors where opened for me and I am doing well. Better than well actually, I turn down work now because I can afford to.
“Makes zero sense whatsoever”.
I wouldn’t expect you to understand, Glock. You either get it or you don’t and you don’t.
It’s an internal thing.
Lol, RB.
I don’t think we will see many Romney bumpers even as it gets closer to the election. Who would proudly slap one on their car? Embarrassing is more like it.
I mean, wouldn’t you feel like you were driving an Edsel?
No i dont, assisting obama in his destruction of the nation and gifting him a second term under any circumatance is completely foregin to me. The idea that any action i was taking was directly helping obama is something i would never do, we agree.
Voting for someone who no one even heard of or staying home both help obama get another term. If you want that on your conscience, so be it.
I am ABO at all costs. I would campaign for joran vandersloot or charles manson over obama if need be.
“If you want that on your conscience, so be it.”
What I “want” is for you self serving control freaks to refrain from A. interfering with my right to make my own choice and B. insisting that you know how my vote will affect the nation. Thank you!
Just pointing put reality. I voted for Ron Paul in the NYS primary, but ABO in nove, ber
IA, CO and NV, have more democrats and more liberals, and more liberal independents.
“680 Virginia voters.” Registered voters? If so, meaningless. You don’t get accuracy until you get likely voters, at minimum. You really want highly likely voters.
