There is no debating with the clueless. Babble with liberals, your speed. Get lost, pretender.

Glen projected that he was for Santorum because he knew to support Romney would be associated immediately with his affiliation in the LDS.

It is all unsubstantiated conspiracies with you Newt people. Glenn just today laid into Milt for being terribly unreliable and unconvincing in his current beliefs. After reading your comments, you wouldn't know anything about that because you obviously don't listen.

Once Romney passes the 1,144 delgeat threshold, the others will endorse and campaign for him.

I don't think we'll see them campaigning as much for Romney as exposing Obama policies for what they are. They'll be crushing Obam with everything they can muster..... If you listen to them their comments are general in nature regarding Romney...there isn't much enthusiasm for him at all. ...and rightfully so.

It would be great if Romney did as your post indicates....but I cannot see that happening as Romney in the past does what he wants regardless....including bypassing government prodigal and rules as he did and showed he's capable of in Mass. as Governor.

I disagree they think he's far better than Obama....rather he's what they got and they will live with it and do as they can to steer him....if he can be steered by our guys which I have great reservations about...those who might oppose Romney will be few if he wins ..for the impression will be he's one of ours.... He's not.

I can understand why conservative politicians and conservatives are supporting him as an alternative

There is no understanding it, it just shows they weren't in politics for our country but themselves! Therefore, faux conservatives. The deal was made before Newt and Perry or any conservative entered the race or who they thought would enter the race. So, supporting him as an alternative, is FALSE! You really aren't too savvy.

On the other hand, Cain abandoned Gingrich before he withdrew from the race, so I’m not sure he’s the best example.

Santorum didn’t endorse Romney. That was pretty good restraint, given how Newt Gingrich cost Santorum the small possibility that we could actually beat Romney. It’s not like Gingrich dropped out and endorsed Santorum when Santorum was beating Romney. At least Santorum dropped out and gave Gingrich a clear field — maybe just to prove that Gingrich couldn’t beat Romney one-on-one.

My point is that it is rediculous to attack Santorum in a thread about Bachmann endorsing Romney after Gingrich suspends his campaign.

I remember how, when Bachmann was starting to poll close to Romney, and was about to win the Iowa caucus, a small but vocal group of Freepers here decided to tear her down, part of the “destroy the other conservatives so Sarah Palin can enter the race” strategy.

While I would have loved to have Sarah Palin in the race, I had confidence that she could clear her own field, and it certainly didn’t help beat Romney to burn the village and run off all the conservative candidates. We needed to unite around the first guy or girl who showed they could beat Romney, instead the first two were targeted, and the 3rd only survived because Palin directly announced she wasn’t running, but he fell of his own accord.

That was of course all before the collective re-imagineering of Newt Gingrich as “the conservative we wanted all along”. For which Santorum was regularly attacked, again splitting the conservative vote through negative attacks, making it harder for the supporters of each candidate to join forces.

Don’t get me wrong — I don’t actually think individual actions like that were a deciding factor in anything; I do think that as a whole, conservatives were not focused on beating Romney at any cost, too many wanted what they thought was the perfect candidate.

Preventing Romney from getting enough votes to get the nomination. This isn’t a done deal yet.

A contested convention is our only hope.

When I see posts where it says 'what Sarah will do' - it already shows the poster is looking for credibility.

Sarah and Todd voted for NEWT!! Remember that - no one decent wants mitt. The not decent could be bought off and the clueless just go along - he didn't win anything he bought it. So don't use Sarah's name to give any credibility to mitt who is responsible for all the attacks against Sarah. His LIES, EVIL and rotten vile tactics against Sarah and all her family! He truly has a demonic spirit within him.

You are on a conservative site - so don't use 'we' when promoting your pro homo, pro baby killer LIAR candidate. Have some respect for decent people. Besides, that is such an over used political manipulative technique - to use it on conservatives is not wise but insulting when speaking of Romney.

I find this nauseating and I think you’re right. During this process I was in Bachmann’s corner, after she quit, I was on the so-called “Cain Train”, when that derailed, I voted for Newt after much soul-searching, but I still rooted for Santorum.

Never once did I consider voting for Mitt Trotsky or his boy-toy Ron Paul. I’m a Conservative and they’re not. It’s that simple.

but I cannot get behind the agenda’s these two are pushing and won’t be a part of it...to do otherwise is treason against my country , and a huge dishonor to God.

exactly. I cannot wish them Godspeed, either of them (2 John 1:10-11) as they both support unbiblical practices and believe false gospels.

Please!!!!!!! Bachmann hired Ed Rollins which was her first Hugh mistake and then after he quit, he dumped on Michele on CNN Anderson Cooper like we figured he would do. Then the next mistake was Rollins attacking Sarah publicly for no reason and it took days for Michele to respond which raised a lot of eyebrows if she considered Sarah “her friend”. After that Bachmann went on her bizzare Gardisol-affect infants thing which made people scratch their heads - all of this before Iowa.

Well, I've been posting avidly here since 1998, and involved in many FR activities, was even humbled to be voted Freeper of the Year in 2001.

So I have a pretty good idea of what the site is all about.

I'll say it again...just for you. Sarah will endorse and support Romney for President should he be the nominee.

I supported Sarah, then Cain, Santorum, and Newt. I still hope there is some kind of miracle to get to a brokered convention.

But if it doesn't and if Mitt breaks the 1,144 delegate threshold, he will have won the omination. Not because he "bought" it, and not because most people are clueless...I have more faith in the GOP people voting in the primaries than that...it will be because, despite his record in Mass, he got the most votes all over the country and won the required number of delegates.

Sorry its that way...but it is, so deal with it.

IMHO, Romney will be far better for the country, even with his warts, than Obama, and that is precisely why the others will endorse him. Cain and Perry already have. Santorum and Newt will do so when he gets the delegates...and so will Sarah.

Not strange you were watching it with your own eyes and didn’t see it because you had a preconceive notion that blinded you and still is.

A real deal tea party member could have kicked mitt to the curb starting with the first debate EASILY, VERY EASILY unless they were there for his benefit.

She never attacked him, you watched it but only listened to her mouth and not watching what she DIDN’T do only what she did do.

Did you see Mitt’s record on taxes and unemployment in MA during his admin? She had tons of stuff to use - that a TRUE DEAL conservative had at their disposal - the liberals did their homework and later you will see what your ‘core’ candidate let pass. Perry tried addressing those things and she came along barking over Perry’s voice while mitt was denying, denying. Truly pitiful to watch.

She can try to clean herself up with this or that and given a pass with her supporters but now she’s just another pawn who the political world knows as ‘usable’.

With dirty politics there is always lots and lots of money - dirty money and not from your average hard working citizen. It’s needed to carrying out the task.

Dirty politics isn’t usually played by conservatives, that’s why so many were taken off guard. But it was a liberal, with no conservative ethics at all - that set up the deal at the weakness of those that were usable on what ‘they’ wanted so bad, is all that he needed to know to entice them into his web of deception. And in the political ego world, it’s easy to know.

So why don't we all sit home and pout on November 6th, and let Obama win by default? That'll show 'em!

I really don't care what you do or how you vote. For me, the choice is clear. Good night.
