A tea party favorite, Bachmann ended her own run for president in January . . . Correction: A former tea party favorite, Bachmann ended her own run for president in January . . .
No Romney supporter is going to be a favorite with decent Americans in 2012. If Mitt surprises us all by governing like Candidate Romney instead of like the person he has been all his life, that may change by 2016. I'm just "severely" skeptical that President Etch-A-Sketch will keep his word on anything.

Romney has been endorsed by;
Paul Ryan
Marco Rubio
Newt Gingrich
Herman Cain
Michelle Bachmann
Bobby Jindall
Bob McDonnell
All formerly shining conservative stars here on FR. Are they ALL traitors? Are they ALL sell outs? What will you say when Sarah Palin gives her endorsement and agrees to make campaign stops for the ticket...whoever's on it? Will you all hate her too?

Your point is an excellent one. When a candidate has a well documented history of making statements on all sides of every issue, the best way one can predict what that candidate's positions would be is to look at prior public office positions held. Thus, the best projection of Romney is he would govern much like his time as Massachusetts Governor.
In three words, no thank you.
