You know what would really be interesting? To find out if any members of the Cherokee Nation were at Havahhd during those nine years of Professor Warren's lonely hunt for her kin. If there were any (and I'm guessing there were several), did Professor Warren reach out to them? Did they find each other? Did Professor Warren offer them personalized help and assistance, from one member of the tribal people to another? Inquiring minds want to know.

Leftists always think in terms of “higher truth” and “good intentions”. Thus, any fame, acclaim, monetary rewards or other goodies that these cretins acquire by promoting fake narratives, telling lies or making false statements are incidental and unworthy of mention.
What that means is when a Ward Churchill or a Liz Warren falsely claim minority status, the default assumption on the Left is that they are only doing so because they emphasize so strongly with the poor downtrodden minorities and wish to atone for their “evil white ancestors”, so it can and should be forgiven — even if it’s somewhat tasteless to encourage it.
Actually, I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if she claims to be a Native American in a previous life and trots out some bought and paid for “medicine man” to confirm that he has confirmed that through his contacts in the spirit world.
She’s been caught with her forked tongue showing for all to see. Standard Lib tactic at this stage of the game is to double-down.

My great-grandmother was a full blood Creek. She listed herself as “colored” on the census, as blacks weren’t treated as bad as Indians were in Alabama then. I have never claimed “minority status” but may have to rethink this...do the Creeks have a casino?
