Argentina has riled the Falkland Islands by broadcasting a political advert filmed on the territory without authorisation.

The advert features an Argentine athlete training in the Falklands ahead of the London Olympics in July.

It ends with the slogan: "To compete on English soil, we train on Argentine soil."

Falklands legislator Ian Hansen dismissed it as a piece of "cheap and disrespectful propaganda".

The advert - broadcast in Argentina on Wednesday night - is the latest measure by Argentina to reassert its claim to the British overseas territory it calls the Malvinas.

Too bad, so sad for the Argies. The Royal Marines and the Paras absolutely kicked their asses despite the fact that the Argies had numerical superiority and lots of time to prepare for the British retaliation.

I guess that’s what happens when your entire country is populated by incompetents with penis envy.

I wonder what would happen if Britain were to break diplomatic relations with Argentina. They'd try to convince other South American nations to break ties with Britain and they might succeed. But Britain might not have to go it alone...Spain isn't too thrilled right now with Argentina,at least....and I think another South American nation has also seized Spanish assets recently.

Every time the regime needs propping up, they trot out The Falklands issue. It the Brits relented and said, “Take it, its yours”. The Argentines would reply, “Not so fast, guys!”

Its funny how someone trying to steal from you can come up with a story to make themselves feel ‘right’ about it. Then they will even manage to become indignant.

‘The Malvinas’, the Falkland Islands, have never been a territory belonging to Argentina.

Cuba has, in the past, been a territory belonging to the United States, and we have more right to reassert our sovereignty over Cuba than Argentina has over the Falklands.

You also have more right to the Falklands than they do. Seriously.
