I am going to give Romney ONE chance to earn my vote...

If he picks a REAL conservative as a VP like Rubio or Palin and not another North Eastern RINO like Chris Christie... then MAYBE I might vote for him ... maybe.... but I will be keeping my eyes on Romney ... and if he even LOOKS left, he will lose my vote forever, and the country be damned.

LOL, sounds like a bad case of "battered conservative" syndrome. Giving ol' Mittsky just ONE more chance, eh? Even after he just flunked on the auto bailout and student loan subsidy issues last week? He hasn't done anything to earn my vote so he won't get it. Neither has Obama of course. I am not voting on the basis of "anybody but Obama." That's fundamentally flawed logic because it would apply if Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Achmedinajad, the Ayatollah, or Kim-Jong Il were on the ticket too.

If anything, maybe FR should ban discussions of Romney altogether. Because the only useful thing we can do now is to help elect conservatives in Congress and regional races. This endless discussion of Mitt is not being productive at all. And no matter who wins the presidency, we will NEED a conservative Congress to block them when they go left. With Romney, though, we'll need far more conservatives elected. We realistically couldn't possibly get a big enough majority this year to counteract all the RINOs and cowardly "team players" who will rubber stamp whatever he does. The conservative movement has a better shot of thriving under a second Obama term than a Romney term. Obama would give us a huge win in the next mid-terms while Romney would likely give us a loss of indeterminate proportions.
