I have read that the government has a law on the books that it is illegal to stock over one month's worth of supplies. If you do, they can confiscate them for the “good of all”.

i plan on stock piling a couple years worth of lsundry detergent.
one bar of fels nsptha, one cup of of borax and one cup of arm and hammer washing soda. ace hardware is selling all three including this recipe.
