15. Though the UN blackballed Mörner on account of these findings, the reality is IPCC estimates of sea-level rise have nosedived from predictions of 3 feet per century in 2001 to about 2 feet per century in 2007 and now waver around 17 inches by 2100.
16. The historical record supports Mörner's assertion. One thousand years ago during the Medieval warming period, when global temperatures significantly exceeded current readings, there were no mass migrations inland to escape encroaching seas. As Robert Zurbin pointed out in his recent National Review editorial, Carbon Emissions are Good, during that time "oats and barley were grown in Iceland, wheat in Norway, hay in Greenland, and the vineyards of England produced fine wines as far north as York." Melting glaciers have also uncovered tree stumps and abandoned Viking settlements on Greenland’s coast.

Latest, the Artic ice sheet is bigger than in the last 10 years, as reported just days ago. I thought the polar bears were going to drown, yet their numbers have increased over the decades.
Here's something for all to ponder: When was the last time you heard of any Florida resident complaining about rising sea levels? Much of Florida is at sea level or just above.

Don't you hate getting older and maintaining your commonsense while the overly-educated academia parses, spins, adjusts, manipulates data to back their suppositions and hang on to outdated established doctrine?
Because of all the biased and ever-changing theories from climatologists, meteorologists, geologists, paleontologists, et al, I no longer even trust physicists. Seems like those wizards find a new theory every year based on new math calculations. Theory is the key word.
To paraphrase a line in the movie, Men In Black, "People once knew the world was flat; they once knew the Sun revolved around the Earth; they knew we were the only intelligence on the planet (think dolphins). Just think what we will know tomorrow".
Yet the astro-physicists think they get what the Universe is about? I'm sure in the near future, they will have a math equation to explain what they now call "singularity", the super condensed state of all matter that existed before the big bang, and what existed before it.
It amazes me that they prove each other wrong so often. But the latest theory is correct, right? Wrong, it will be proven incorrect next month. Einstein and Hawkings and others have been proven wrong, in part, in recent years, and they were the end all of physics.
Sheesh even physiologists can't agree what is the right amount of nutrients for the human body or even how certain enzymes work with certain hormones. Remember when they claimed that fats were bad, only to find later it was just trans-fats and olive oil and other plant fats are good?. Remember when cholesterol was the main culprit of heart disease, only to find later the difference between HDL and LDL proteins. Now, it's more about triglycerides that cause inflammation of the endothelial lining of the arteries/veins that causes plaque buildup. What next?
We have long been told that many ailments of old age are part of life and can't be changed, so just deal with. Yes, certain science disciplines have created a better life for mankind and I thank them. However, climatology is an inexact science and these brainiacs can't predict with absolute certainty what the temperature of a given town will be the next day. So we're suppose to jeopardize our standard-of-living on theories that may change next week?
