It either escapes the consciousness of most here, or it’s cognitive dissonance that no matter who wins in November, Conservatism is toast.

The GOP-e Ruling Class sold us out to ensure this result. They made a Faustian bargain with the Marxist Devil because they hate Conservatives as much as Obama does. The tag-team destruction of Conservatives from Palin on down by BOTH Romney and Obama’s propaganda media more than bears that out.

If Obama wins, Principled Conservatives will be blamed for Romney’s loss by every moderate out there. And none of us are blind to what Obama will attempt to do next given the history of Marxist regimes. That inevitability was already put into motion and the GOP-e has been willing to go along with it since January 2009.

If Romney wins, Conservatives lose permanently, because everything Obama has already done, becomes institutionalized and the GOP-e will appropriate ‘fundamental transformation’ for itself to manage. Conservatives will become completely irrelevant in future politics because Romney will have redefined Conservatism as being Socialist but not Marxist.

We’ve already lost, just as Jim Robinson said (AND HE DID NOT ENDORSE ROMNEY) and doing a repeat of 2008 and expecting a different result is pure insanity.

We have to think a lot differently than doing the same old if we want to survive what is coming.

This whole deal reminds me of the Jews in Europe in the late 30’s and 40’s who absolutely REFUSED to allow themselves to understand that they were going to be exterminated. Even when they were forced into Ghettos, and then even loaded onto boxcars for deathcamps, they refused to believe it. “It is some mistake” they told themselves. Being sold out to the Nazis by even family and friends for a mere promise of bread or out of fear for their own skins was rampant. They refused to believe even that could happen. Survivors have testified many of them would not believe the rumors that the showers were gas chambers. It was just too horrific for the mind to wrap itself around.

Apparently we don’t want to acknowledge what time it is either, so going back to doing what is routine and comfortable in vain hope or out of abject fear is better than facing the truth of where we are.

Reminds me of the woman in the 1982 movie “The Day After” who continues to make the beds and do her household chores after the missiles were flying and cities were about to be vaporized. She even fights her own husband to cling to her need for ‘normalcy’.

That is why the vitriol against anyone who says they are not going to vote for Romney. Out of their cowardly fear, they will insist that not voting for Romney is a vote FOR Obama. We even witness here on this very thread that they will be militant about it. They will call you a traitor. They will say you support Obama. They will accuse you of being an Obama shill or ‘agent’ sent to sow discord.

The meme is, Vote for Romney OR ELSE - YOU will be responsible for what Obama does. So much for liberty, even among those who claim to be Conservative.

And now we know how it is that a climate of fear is established that herds an entire people into seig heiling and stormtrooping a minority of Socialist radicals.

Oh for heaven’s sake, you are quoting the Jews under Nazism and you should be talking to the Communists. The people who lived under the Soviets are terrified of Obama. Talk to them.

Last time people puffed up their chests and screamed “I won’t vote for McCain” we got Obama. You can’t change the GOP if the Republic falls. You can predict what would have happened with McCain but you KNOW what happened with Obama.

I generally agree except that one fact will be evident to dismiss the establishments claim: When every Tea Party candidates running wins by 25% more votes than Romney gets in their district, the new fact that we DID NOT Stay Home but showed up and SKIPPED their trap at the top of the ballot will be the proof. They will then know we no longer play that game and even Obama wasn’t scary enough. They will then either come to OUR table or forever have NO seat at any table.
