Defense Secretary Leon Panetta called on American soldiers to remember that when serving abroad they are representing the United States — and that incidents involving the desecration of enemy corpses shows "a lack of professionalism" among American forces.

Speaking to troops at Fort Benning, Ga., Panetta said that the high profile cases involving servicemembers urinating on Afghan corpses and posing for pictures with body parts "show a lack of judgment, a lack of professionalism, and a lack of leadership,"

“I will not write what I really am thinking.”

Let me help you. Panetta is a low-life Marxist bastard who shames the office he holds just making such a comment.

Laz has a “way with words & phrases”. (Can’t find the hilarious thread he did last month, but I laughed so hard I almost ... nah, I didn’t really)

Let’s see what he can do with...

“I will not write what I really am thinking.”

Can someone explain what the concern is when our troops pose with the body parts of terrorists? Isn’t that the message we want terrorists to soak in? You commit terrorism and THIS is how you’ll wind up!

Panetta follows in a long illustrious line of Leftists who front for ‘the rights’ of terrorists, to be somehow reverenced, not seen for what they really are.

Not professional? Funny you should mention that phrase Mr. Panetta. That’s exactly what you and your ilk are!

Get back to me when you can reach the boot-laces of any of our troops, you mental midget.

Similarly when Obama bowed to the Saudi King he was representing The United States of America. He was not supposed to be representing himself.

As to what I am linking. Well I think Obama’s Administration is an Epic Disaster. Obama is puny little man who thinks getting Osama was a tough decision. As for Panetta, he is a lap dog butt kissing........you get the picture.

Reflects lack of Leadership and the lack of traditional standards/values. It also means they (leadership) are making the Troops the scape goat and not taking the responsibility they duly deserve.

Panetta shames the office he holds and our serving troops, airmen and sailors. These are soldiers from 18 to 23 in age and most were privates. They are in a war zone, scared and danger is all around.

To show off around dead enemy is a natural reaction and was a way to acclimate themselves to the reality of war, one must be ready to kill or die. I do not condone the showing off, I say it happens and move on.

Private talks by the sergeant or lieutenant are in order, not a shaming at national command level. Shaming these troops is pulling down the whole force and not acceptable.

Did you see 300? What did they do with the bodies? History is full of examples of far worst things, but guess what they did serve a purpose did it not? Never the less our leadership is the true failure here once again another example.

I think DGHoodini meant it like the head of a snake analogy, with no disrespect to the Troops.
