Attention "Anyone But Obama" (ABO) FReepers! If you go to the thread at the link you will will see that JimRob has "declared a truce" and hundreds of ABO FReepers are now vigorously defending their belief, which I share, that the ineligible Marxist Manchurian MUST BE DEFEATED to preserve the Republic...without fear of "the ZOT"! Please consider a DONATION not just to fund renewal of expression and amplification of your ABO views, but let's over-achieve this FReepathon to get JR his new equipment!

IMO, Free Republic and FReepers could be vital in swing states in rallying just enough conservatives to tip the election and prevent our troops from having to salute for even one day longer than necessary an ineligible Marxist committed to destroying the USA !

There you go, mis quoting again, I never said I thought that, I said others might think that.

Did it ever occurr to you that might be a problem. Maybe a little more speaking for yourself and less speaking for others would help. Save the speaking for trees and dogs to liberals.

But why do you allow threads to be posted for no other reason but to trash and demonize what others might hold sacred? And you very well know who the crowd is that I am refering to. They do it 24/7 and have been doing so for years, not just lately.

I fully understand your position. When it became obvious that Romney was going to be the GOP candidate my opinion was I’d rather have my enemy in front of me, where I know what he is going to do so I can prepare for it - instead of having my enemy behind me, stabbing me in the back every other day. If we can not change the tide with someone as despicable as Obama in the White House then when will we? When we have a less reprehensible Democrat in office?

After much thought and reflection, I still feel this way but I also understand that not voting or voting 2nd party or worse, voting for Obama assures the destruction of this country.

I will not continue helping Obama and progressives destroy all that works, is good, patriotic and exceptional about the United States.

I will also not slam those who would rather spit nails than cast a vote for Romney - I understand this, fully.

In the end though, I know when I’m standing in the voting booth, I will end up voting for Romney; not because I support him, agree with him, or believe his record is that much better or different than the “wons”. I have to consider Supreme Court picks, I have to consider coat-tails, I have to consider Romney if nothing else, understands capitalism and why it is above and beyond the most successful economic policy that has every existed and ever will.

Yes, I’ll hold my nose, choke down the vomit and circle the bubble in for Romney. I can only pray he brings in other Republicans into the Senate allowing us to take it. I pray his coat-tails will be big enough so we keep the House. I pray his supreme court picks will not include such vulgar, disgusting, anti-American jurists as Kagen and Sotomayor (who, admittingly has surprised me).

If nothing else, I will know I have not help put Obama into office for four more years - and in the end, that would be worse for this nation than anything a huge RINO like Romney could or would do to this nation.

That a truce has been called on FR, finally, is good. Face facts people Romney, whether we like it or not, is the candidate. We either have four more years of Obama or him. Those are our choice.

Nobody says we have to get on the Romney bandwagon and shouts his praises from the rooftops. Nobody is saying we have to even like the guy (I don’t), nobody says we can’t debate where his weaknesses are. Simply put, we either come together, not in support of Romney, but as Conservatives and make sure we do all we can to remove Obama and his fellow progressives out of office AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT.

FR is one way of doing this - it also allows us to pass along other ways of helping accomplish this goal.

This is it people, we have four years to turn our country back into the United States or get ready to surrender or go to war (figuratively not literally). I refuse to surrender.

"...We have discussed a number of important issues such as the Federal Employee Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA), which I have agreed to co-sponsor, and if possible broaden to include housing and credit, and the bill to create a federal panel to find ways to reduce gay and lesbian youth suicide, which I also support. One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share...

What on EARTH does homosexuality have to do with housing and credit??????? Show me ONE person who has been discriminated against with respect to a loan or a house because they were homosexual?

And support for homosexuals serving openly in the military...No. Can't do it. I was trying to find a vice powerful enough to hold my nose, but that makes the point moot to me. I am going to have to find some other way to exercise my rights as a citizen than voting for Mitt Romney.

I won't demonize anyone who does. I think it is a personal choice. But presented as it was in this passage above, I can't do it. I cannot pull the lever for him.

So I guess...from your point of view, all religions are equal in your eyes. Muslims, Christians, Hindu's, Satanists, J.W.'s, Buddists, Mormons, etc...etc........all the same!!"

You are posting in a public forum, and I provided you with exactly what you where asking for, so why don't you LEARN TO DEAL WITH REALITY, and LEARN TO SEND PRIVATE MAIL, k thx.

Your unwillingness to tell the truth about something so important will definitely earn you your Romney Republican merit badge.

Shoot, it might even earn you a paying gig.

Political correctness has nothing to do with it. It is what YOU and YOUR crew of evengelical covenant try to force down everyones throat completely unchecked 24/7. You want to talk about how you believe? Fine! Start a thread on that without having to trash what someone else might find to be sacred to them. You happen to be one of those holierthanthough I was speaking of earlier.

I don't think you are evil O. Quite the opposite in fact. I have read your posts for many years and value your opinion and the thought process that leads you to those opinions. I know you realize how important convictions are to so many of our brethren here at FR. I will promise you this. I will not agitate against Mr. Romney unprovoked. A blatant falsehood by him or his camp will be rebutted though. My attention will remain focused on Zero and the progs so long as Mr. Romney's organization does the same. If his supporters quit trying to convince me with words how conservative he is I would respect them more for their honesty. He should stick with how he differs from Obama rather than wasting his energy trying to convince me how similar he is to me.

I really don't want to see any Freepers removed other than the obvious trolls. Heck people with differing opinions make me constantly re-examine mine and learning something is half the fun of Him giving me another day on this side of the grass. Stay well, and stay around please.

Some of it is pretty subtle so you'd have to know more about their own religious beliefs to figure it out.

You're right.

When it comes to the anti-Mormon, anti-Catholic and anti-atheist threads here, one thing you never have to worry about is missing the message due to excessive subtlety.........

As Governor, Romney could not overrule the Supreme Ct.

I'm guessing they didn't teach about co-equal branches, or separation of powers, or enumerated powers, or checks and balances, in Romney Republican training classes, eh?

Perhaps the professors were the same Republican lawyers who were advising Romney when he was governor?

But, in any case, Romney did not have to "overrule the Supreme Ct."

All he had to do to check this lawless liberal court was to DO NOTHING, just like the legislature had already done.

And there isn't a thing in the world the court could have done about it.

Checkmate.

But no. Romney abused his power, violated his state's constitution, and made up a lawless "law" of his own. One that is in gross violation of the natural law. And one that has helped push the homosexual agenda forward across the land.

And now he, and his henchmen, lie, and lie, and lie, about it.

Persons who believe that their religious beliefs are superior and who denounce others for their ABO view appear to be a tiny minority.

Well that hardly at all is a truce making statement... and you then wonder why people defend their stance against such nonsense as you've just so rudely made.

Therefore I will continue to make statements as I see fit to expose your hypocrisy's....this statement being one of them.
