General Motors is becoming China Motors. Forget the spin. The evidence is clear and convincing. Did U.S. taxpayers save GM for China? Listen to the candid comments of GM's CEO.

Very interesting that GM even sponsored a Chinese Communist Party propaganda film called "Birth of a Party". GM marketed Cadillacs to CCP leaders during the event celebrating the release of this film. You will see the Cadillac logo displayed with the Communist Party hammmer and sickle on the big red banner.

How's that bailout working for you America?

Actually, given GM’s “quality,” it’s a good fit.

And good riddance.

Shove it up your smelly collective socialist Obamas, GM, and take your unions with you.

Let’s see how they do in China.

Heh!

The Communists aren't going to get much if they're going to build cars in American-financed, GM facilities. I haven't seen much that I'd buy come out of them, not recently.

Now, if they're going to use my tax money to build tanks in those factories, that might work well for Chi-Coms.

Perhaps we now know what our globalist leaders mean when they say they agree with a "One China" policy.

...the U.S. is to be part of "THE ONE".

...(hmmmm, "THE ONE"...where have I heard that before...????)

The reference to "Century Motors" was just too rich!

Who is John Galt?

Good one! I think they mean it like: "One China, One World, One Party, One Totalitarian State, One Master" (Big Brother maybe?)

Saw this last night. I think I’ve bought my last GM product ever.

FWIW, EPA policies forbid high-mileage vehicles from VW and Ford from being sold in the US. VW's Bluemotion Passat is rated up in the 70 mpg range . It's made in the US, available in the UK.

Yes the USEPA made a conscious decision to attempt to drive out light duty diesels. Essentially by making the emission limits for diesels such that they would have little mileage advantage over gasoline cars but a LOT more cost to manufacture.

But while they were laboring away at that, it looks like the frackers have dug up so much nat gas that us peons may have mobility anyway, LOL.
