KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A former Kansas City woman who converted to Islam in 2005 said she was harassed for years at AT&T, and that the abuse boiled over in 2008 when her boss snatched her head scarf and exposed her hair.
A Jackson County jury on Thursday awarded Susann Bashir $5 million in punitive damages in her discrimination lawsuit, along with $120,000 in lost wages and other actual damages.
The Kansas City Star reported Saturday that the award appears to be the largest jury verdict for a workplace discrimination case in Missouri history.

AT&T hires morons to operate many lines of their business.
We have a green telephone box on a tiny easement on our property. AT&T hired a spraying company to keep the weeds down around this box. The sprayers shot their weed killer 35 feet off the easement and killed several healthy trees, including a 100 year old black oak.

I was one of those stupid people once. DUI case. I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. Too many morons wanted to send a message to the police for pulling the drunk over. They didn’t think it was fair to throw the perp in jail. Geeeesh! My head exploded and the stuff it the fan. I’ll never do it again. EVER!

This assumes I split the $5 Mil with my boss on a scam, then lawyers take 40%, then I get left wtih $1.5 Million. I don’t have to paypay taxes on either Back Pay, or from the settlement:

Just another reason companies move their offices overseas. To stop BS law suits like this. Socialism, and multiculturalism is kill America.
No, the jurors don’t realize they will get to pay it. They think the “evil corporation” will get it from its large handbag.
That’s how I feel.
I know that there are Mennonite and some Baptists/Pentecostals who have religious wear for their religion and I don’t think they should be treated like that.
Legally speaking, once the jury hands down its verdict, it's no longer just "alleged."
