Polls close in NC primary, early returns in [Traditional Marriage Winning Big!]

Early election results are in for some of the biggest races in the North Carolina primary.

More According to the State Board of Elections website, with more than 600,000 votes counted, Amendment One had 55 percent voting for it and 44 percent voting against it. The amendment, if passed, would constitutionally make marriage between a man and a woman the only acceptable form of marriage.

My family had planned to go on vacation during the Dem convention, but the rental-house rates dropped by 1/3 for the following week. I’m still going to invite some NC FReepers to crash here, if they want to protest the convention.
