One suspects that Mister Biden was carefully instructed and coached as to what, and how to endorse gay "marriage". Biden can serve as a useful fool because I predict that he might be making a convenient exit from the political stage.
As I've said hereabouts numerous times, I predict that Hillary will replace Biden on the ticket; and, that this has been in the works for a couple of years. (My reading of the tea leaves, and my hunch, and it's just a hunch, gets stronger every day.)
Oh, and since Dems can never, ever, ever be honest about anything, expect two things...(my hunch-based predictions, and welcome to them)
1. Biden will FAKE an illness, and make the "painful" decision not to run, for the good of America; and...
2. Mrs. Clinton will pretend to not want the job. And thousands of coached and organized Dem groupies will plead with Hillary to accept, creating a false drama that will have Chris Matthews, and other obedient Dems pretending to swoon.
Again, just my hunches.
One problem with your scenario: would Maobama really want Hitlery for his Veep? His agreeing to it would make him a sitting duck.
You could be right. Some guy thought that Obama might be afraid to have the Clintons in the position to initiate operation arkancide, so I suppose he could get some sort of *insurance* to insure it wouldn’t happen and vamp up his security service. - I sure hope not; but some imagine that Hillary is in a position to call the shots in an election. Evidently, a lot of people weren’t watching when the Clinton horror inhabited the White House.
I think your hunches are pretty accurate, but you left out the side benefit of distracting America from zero’s record and changing the term of the debate to social issues.
In fact, every conservative should say “This is not news. We knew BO’s position all along and that his half-hearted position before was just another of his lies. Now let’s get back to talking about the economy...”
