Police found the dismembered, decapitated bodies of 15 people in two abandoned vehicles in western Mexico Wednesday in an apparent revenge killing between powerful drug gangs.
Police initially counted 12 bodies dumped in the car on a road between Mexico's second city of Guadalajara and the lakeside city of Chapala, known for its North American expatriate community.
An anonymous call alerted police to the abandoned vehicles, and the bodies were taken to forensic services in Guadalajara, a police official said.
Jalisco state attorney general Tomas Coronado Olmos called an urgent meeting with the state governor and said the killings appeared to have been in revenge for 23 killings last Friday in the northeastern state of Tamaulipas.
An arrested woman said that the killings were "the repercussion for what happened in Tamaulipas," Coronado Olmos said.
The woman said she belonged to a local gang called Milenio, linked to the brutal Zetas drug gang.
Police found 23 bodies last Friday in the city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, on the US border, including nine hanging from a bridge and 14 others that had been decapitated.

Lovely.
The Mexicans are going to make the Muslims jealous.
don’t worry, the TSA will protect you.

Expect an immediate shortage of restaurant dishwashers in this country.
One of the dude’s bodies had panties on it. I’m told I’m safer.
Not the way to get ahead in life.
Think about all of the murders that we don’t hear about. If a reporter writes about dead bodies he becomes one.
uh-oh, now the do gooders will be claiming the knives/machetes/chainsaws came from the USA and need to be tightly controlled.
Now see, Janet was right. Not one of those heads rolled across the border.
I am starting to wonder if this is indeed cartels at work, or perhaps something even more evil. The candidate being the Santa Muerte (Saint death) cult. Literally, a throwback to Aztec religion.
While there is considerable overlap between the two, the cartels are in it for the money, but the cultists would want to emphasize the murder (and looting the bodies) part.
What sets this apart are the decapitations. While they are designed to terrify, obviously, I wonder if there could be any religious significance to it. The Aztecs were big on decapitation as well as some other pretty inhuman tortures and mass murder.
If Mexican crime gangs ever form an alliance with Islamic terrorists, the U.S. could be in more danger than ever before.
“Geez, somebody needs to tell these cartels that there is enough demand here for drugs for everybody”
This is not about the drugs, it’a about power and respect.
Before what?
I personally fear government more than some terrorist with a bomb in his underwear.
After all, it was government under Bush who allowed in more Muslims after 911, than the previous two decades. During war time no less.
It's government that allowed our borders to turn into a lawless violent war zone, while winking and nodding as millions entered illegally, as your forced at gun point to subsidize them.
“The Mexicans are going to make the Muslims jealous.”
I’m thinking that’s where their field training is coming from.
Let us face facts ladies & gentlemen ,we have on our southern border a failed state that is in a slow motion reenactment of the Hutu’s & Tutsi’s of Rwanda bloodletting festival . All the while we have a corrupt bloated govt. that literally lies so badly that even school children aren’t fooled . God Bless America & please hurry.

Bears repeating!
