I disagree.
I’ve flown Aeroflot, Aeroflot-Don, and S7 on many trips to and throughout Russia, going back to the days of the Tupolev TU-154. I had heard of all the horror stories, and was very nervous on the first trip.
Instead, I found all of my flights to be as good as or better than any domestic flights I had flown. The flights were smooth, the service excellent, and believe it or not, the food was great! Plus, all drinks were free.
I would recommend Aeroflot to anyone.
