I used to like to go to political debate forums and argue with leftwingers. When I would refer to homosexuality in bald, uncompromising terms, such as you did in your first sentence, the liberals and the homos would become absolutely hysterical, and screech to high heaven. Even though it’s a truthful description of what they do, the sodomites don’t want it laid out in those terms. It’s much more pleasant to the public ear just to call themselves “gay” and skip over the rest.
