Democrats who already were queasy about the site of their national convention could be excused after Tuesday's election in North Carolina if they asked, "Tell me again just why we're going to Charlotte this year?" In fact, many Democrats privately are asking exactly that after the state's voters overwhelmingly approved a measure outlawing not just same-sex marriage -- which already was illegal in North Carolina -- but also any form of civil unions. Almost immediately after the vote, more than 20,000 people signed a "move the convention" petition being pushed by a New York group called Gay Marriage USA. And Twitter accounts lit up with hundreds of angry tweets demanding the party pull out of Charlotte.
LOL the Commie left is defeated. They are giving up on NC, they lose NC, they lose the election. It won’t matter how many dead people and illegals they get to vote for them, they KNOW they are going down in November!

I dunno if you’ve ever been to P-town, but it’s really small. We used to spend a couple of weeks every summer in my mother’s aunt’s place in Truro, next down to the south. There isn’t much in Truro except beachs and shacks, so we’d go to Truro for tourist stuff.
I’ve been to P-town lots of times and it was pleasant, the fags were colorful, but not militant or unpleasant. It used to be about 50/50 fags and summer tourists. (Fags is what they called themselves, btw.)

I’ve spent lots of time in the Carolinas, and people there are not much different than in Massachusetts or anywhere else. For the most part, homosexuals who behave civilly will be welcomed in the Carolinas or almost anyplace outside of the Caliphate. Heterosexuals who act like jackasses will not be welcomed anywhere.
I hear HAVANNA has enough convention space available that week.

This isn't a ‘we agree to disagree’ type response. It is a ‘our way or the highway’ type moment and will be a dramatic reminder that liberals are the party that blocks compromise - they do not consider a compromise to be anything other than full capitulation to their way of thinking.
Hundreds of hours of free coverage of the convention by local media will be out the window if they up and move away from this battleground state. And where are they going? To a state that didn't vote to amend their constitutions to keep politicians from re-defining the word marriage? Like... California? Oh, right, this left coast bastion did the same thing.
Well, those Nancy Pelosi hicks can cross themselves off of the tolerance list of acceptable places to hold a convention. Surely there's some place in the nation where the people have voted for the word marriage to be changed to mean something else...right?
Pack up the bags, DNC, move the convention, and dig yourselves a hole.
