In 2004, the first 10 minutes after the polls closed all of the networks were proclaiming a victory for Kerry and saying that Bush was a one term president like his father and both of them were run out of office because it’s the economy, stupid.
That meme had to be junked when across the nation more votes came pouring in for Bush.
