I left the Savage Nation more than a year , i realized that he actually left me long before! Now i don’t have to suffer from withdrawal anymore! Its a pity checking in here reading how sad the posters here feel, I think its time to let go, trust me you’ll feel better. Take it from a solid 10 year avid Savage listener.

Yes Savage has changed. But that has two meanings. The one meaning I admire was that he changed talk radio by giving it back at the opponents in the same hostility that they attack conservatives -- that Savage I never missed one minute of his KSFO shows (literally) all during the 1990s into the 2000s.

I recall decades of conservatives being silenced by screams of RACISTS! BIGOTS!

I recall that when modern talk radio started in the late 1980s and early 1990s the most oft heard caller expression was something like "I didn't know that other believed as I do! I thought I was the only one".

We weren't the silent generation of the '60s - 80s we were the silenced generation -- Limbaugh started talking and Savage showed how to get through! Others followed.

Then Savage changed but this time fortunately the rest of talk radio did not follow or it would be a kind of balkanization with name-calling and hosts maligning each other.
