Actress Betty White is a big fan of President Barack Obama, the AP reports:
As she prepares to visit the Smithsonian Institution and National Zoo next week, White told The Associated Press she "very, very much favors" President Barack Obama in the election.
The 90-year-old actress said Friday she is very bi-partisan and has stayed away from politics all of her life. She usually never says who she is for or against because she doesn't want to turn off any of her adoring fans.
White says in this year's election, she likes what Obama has done and "how he represents us."

according to virtualglobetrotting.com, this is Betty White's Los Angeles area home. Notice the guest and pool house? For one old lady. I wonder if she'll let some of her fellow Obama voters, who aren't flush with cash, live with her--you know, to spread the wealth?

Having worked with, lived with, grown up with, and, God help me, even slept with those claiming to be liberals and leftists, this kind of statement is a dead giveaway that the speaker is doctrinaire leftist. One of the famous conceits of the left is their never-ending rant about how they are the ones who are balanced (therefore “bipartisan”) and how they’re not really political (sometimes expressed as their bastard child, “everyone is political,” and sometimes expressed by their cynical bastard child, “they’re all to blame.”)
Ideas provide motivation for actions. Anyone telling they’re not motivated by their beliefs is lying to you and sometimes themselves.
She’s 90. She might be suffering from dementia, or she might want to take America with her into the grave.
Political comments remove or interfere with the entertainment value of the person making the statement. I can never get past it whenever they appear on my TV screen. Consequently, most of the time, they get turned off!
Right up there with the seminar callers who start out with “I’m a lifetime Republican, but.....”
Her recent television appearances — her “comedy” — are often crude and sex-obsessed. She plays off her wholesome image by becoming a non-wholesome performer. Just like the once-pure Julie Andrews has done.
Liberal Hollywood types think that cool.
Betty White seems like a delightful lady, but, if I remember correctly, she was around during the time many of her fellow stars were blacklisted for being members of or sympathizing with the Communist Party. I have no idea where Ms. White stood on that problem, but some actors are still very angry about how the situation was handled and feel more comfortable with Leftist governmental figures.
Or, maybe, Betty just loves being stage-center.

When you get to be an old bag like Betty with literally minutes to go, you blurt out all of your pent up feelings. Next up...she’s a lesbian who did it with “Georgette”.
