At a certain point Muslims will feel they have achieved enough power to turn against their liberal allies of convenience...or vice versa. I truly don’t know who would be more vicious with unlimited power, a man with no conscience but with a utopian vision (a la Hitler), or a man with a really messed up conscience who thinks his acts of barbarism are sanctioned by God (radical Muslims).
How about a man that is both? Obama exemplifies the worst of both of your examples, IMO. Except that....in his mind he IS God.
