Lacey Buchanan never dreamed that a Youtube video she created about her blind baby boy and his rare cleft palate condition would spread virally, racking up some 7 million views and delivering hundreds of personal messages of support to her Facebook and email inboxes.
In the seven-minute video, which she made using her iPhone, the 25-year-old mother from Woodbury, Tenn., describes the triumph of witnessing 14-month-old Christian's giggles in the face of the constant stares and whispers they encounter in public when strangers see her baby.

It’s a powerful video, one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Her face tells the whole story, from eyes filled with tears to her beautiful smile. Brave parents.

The video is a masterpiece. I wonder if they know that? The mother looks like she just got up. No make up, didn't really comb her hair. She even has what looks like the remnants of a fever blister on her lip. (I get them all the time. ABREVA the miracle cure). Obviously not a Hollywood production. REAL!
She doesn't speak at all. She plays “Give Me Jesus” by Fernando Ortega in the background then “How Great is Our God” by Chris Tomlin. PERFECT! The handwritten notes on notebook paper pieces were priceless! The photos, just so well put together you just KNOW The Lord had a hand in it!
The sincere expressions on the mom's face are amazing. happy, sad, concerned, crushed, steadfast, understanding, happy again, pride, LOVE!
All innocent life is precious. My heart BREAKS for the over 50,000,000 aborted babies. Most of them without the challenges Christian faces. May God continue to bless this family as he already has blessed them with Christian.
Thank you so much for posting this Kaslin. What a beautiful woman and beautiful baby. I firmly believe that God gives these wonderful, special angels to very exceptional people for their care. This couple are among those He has chosen. God bless them!
I look around at our society today and stare in horror at the crude people who think they have some sort of civil right to be offensively cruel and rude to total strangers they happen to come across.

Looking at the mother’s emotions in her face, as she goes through the video holding up the signs, tells a lot about her love and compassion. Wow! God bless this mother and her precious son always.
