so in America, in your opinion, it is fair game to not let the other person speak because you don’t agree with him.

In America, in historical fact, it has always been the case that politicians and their mouthpieces have been either cheered or booed. Sometimes riotously. A more recent example that is especially germane to this latest reality check would be the Goldwaterites who roundly booed Rockefeller off the stage in '64.

Although I wasn't alive at the time, were I there I would have sided with Goldwater and booed Rockefeller down. Northeastern liberals with an (R) after their names are not just useless - they are destructive to liberty - the knife in the back of Conservatism.

That was our heritage and culture. Now Obama and many Republicans too (it was bipartisan) have passed a law that would mean those who booed or acted “riotously” at such an event with secret service protection will be charged with felonies. I fear the good ole days where we could peacefully stand up to government are coming to an end, and both Parties are pushing it.

There is a big difference between some booing by idiots and booing and making a ruckus driving him off the stage. I guess it's okay to go just one little step farther now and throw pies at Ann Coulter like they did at the college she was to speak at. Lets see, one more small step would be to have the SEIU thugs slap him around a bit. I personally am civilized enough (and I'm an Indian) to not go if I don't like the person or if he is saying things I don't want to hear, leave and go home, but that's just me.
