I called Boehner’s office and tried to express my support for Issa and the contempt citation. I was placed on hold and no one ever came back on the line. I also called Cantor’s office and put in my two cents worth with them.
I have my doubts that any of them listen but maybe sheer numbers will get the point across!
That’s the spirit, VikingMom. I will be faxing a letter to the Speaker in the morning. He realizes that for each of us that contacts him, there are thousands of other concerned Americans who share our view. There is no question that Boehner is feeling pressure from his caucus and from some in the press.
Fax is the only way to ‘reach’ them.
