Any state lawmaker planning on a vacation any time soon got some bad news on Wednesday — they’re not done.
Gov. John Hickenlooper upended the Colorado political scene when he announced that he would call a special session of the Legislature to revisit the Democratic civil unions bill that died in the House on Tuesday night. The General Assembly adjourned Wednesday night, but by law, the governor can force it to reconvene and take up any issue he wants.
And that’s exactly what Hickenlooper is doing.

Not only is the content almost universally insulting, but the time taken up by ads continues to grow, AND I noticed in just the past week a marked, and apparently orchestrated, shift towards overtly gay commercials. Even commercials without gay themes now have overtly gay-sounding voiceovers. They are in our face everywhere now.
Well, we’re fast approaching many things the Marxists have been patiently positioning themselves for over the past century. They’re making their final push on many fronts, and this is merely one. But the blitzkrieg speed and unopposed coordination of their forces speaks volumes the the naivete and gullibleness of the now-soft culture we’ve become. The next 7 months will not be pretty.
Hello. I think a load of the book of Revelation has probably ALREADY happened. Some posit that several of the trumpets have already sounded; and, honestly I can’t argue with them. We have already had immense horrors, destructions, and deaths on this earth, especially in the last hundred years - with MILLIONS dying in wars. We just recover a little bit from one when another hits hard on its heels. - Worship God, be ready, don’t accept the mark of the Beast, either in actuality or in spirit. Those who think they are going to be raptured way ahead of any bad stuff MAY be right; but then they may not.
We are admonished to READ Revelation, (even though we may not fully understand it, we are to read it and heed it, for it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ).

We are asking all people of good will who support marriage between one man and one woman to come to the Capitol and show their support for this significant issue. Marriage between one man and one woman is the cornerstone of our society.
Current civil union legislation contradicts the will of the people of Colorado, who in 2006 chose to reject Referendum I, the equivalent of civil unions and supported Amendment 43 which enshrined in our constitution the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman.
A special legislative session has been called by Governor Hickenlooper to address several issues including civil unions. Please come show our elected officials that protecting marriage between one man and one woman is important.

We did not renew our Dish Satellite contract over a year ago and don’t really miss it. Between Itunes, Hulu, Netflix, Foxnews radio on line, and our laptop computers on which many network programs are streamed the day after, as well as the plethora of articles posted on Free Republic, the only time our TV is on is when our grandchildren are watching videos borrowed from the local library when visiting from out of state.
